Transitioning from photography to the realm of contemporary artworks has been both exhilarating and challenging. The shift, though creatively fulfilling, is a test of my patience like never before. Ohmy, the trial and error process demands a level of tenacity I didn't anticipated. But I need to do this, I'm determined to make this work.

In my photography, I captured moments frozen in time, and the editing processes is one I have mastered and feel comfortable and familiar with, but the allure of combining photography with materials and exploring this uncharted territory means embracing the complexities of layering physical materials, applying digital image editing techniques in a tangible manner.

This journey unfolds with a series of challenges—each stroke, layer, and medium demands precision. The fusion of digital concepts and physical materials is a dance between innovation and tradition.

I'm not just struggling in mastering the techniques but also in embracing the unforeseen outcomes. Materials chemically not reacting well to eachother, technical errors with equipment, getting my images printed on the right materials, and acquiring expensive materials (or saving up for them) to experiment with... and possibly ruin, turning each error into a stepping stone towards progress towards what I have envisioned.

I know I will get there.
I'm enjoying the process but allso trying to fight off my inpatients and frustration.
